We’re back by popular demand for another afternoon of live music, good vibes, and community! This year, we have 2 headliners : Dan Dectis and Friends, and Burn Journal We’ll kick things off with solo acoustic acts first, so if you want to perform, let me know. This is an ideal place to get on stage in a safe, supportive environment if you’ve been wanting to play live for the first time or try out new material. If you or anyone you know is interested in performing, reach out. Snacks will be provided. House rules: * No hard liquor(beer/wine is ok) * Devil’s lettuce is permitted * Be supportive of the first time musicians * Have fun We are trying to keep this event from getting out of hand. You can invite a plus one, but please don’t invite a bunch of people. (No tickets at the door — entry with advance payment only) Things to bring: A blanket or a chair to sit on and warm clothes.

I started sitting in with these musicians a couple years ago at their respective shows, and could never have imagined how transcendental it would feel to play a full show with both of them.

Their songwriting takes me on a journey by land and sea and sky.[1] [2] Together they have groove and poetry and playfulness - all the things I love about original music. Their complementary styles create a new third thing – for me, that feels like I'm playing with a whole new musician, rather than just with Alie, or with Dan, or even just with Alie plus Dan.

[Nina better find that dang video here. Nag her!]

[1] catch one of Alie's live performances and request "Between the Tides"

[2] Dan's a multi-instrumentalist, multi-genre kinda guy (see evidence). He wrote an Ode to John Muir that paints a vivid image of California in my mind.
